United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.

UNODC/WHO Global Initiative on Primary Prevention of Substance Abuse. The Global Initiative was a joint project of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), previously the United Nations International Drug Control Programme or (UNDCP) and World Health Organization (WHO), implemented from 1998 to 2003 in 8 countries with funding by the Norwegian Government.

Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND)

"the central policymaking body within the United Nations system dealing with drug-related matters."

International Narcotics Control Board (INCB)

"the independent and quasi-judicial monitoring body for the implementation of the United Nations international drug control conventions. It was established in 1968 in accordance with the Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs, 1961.  It had predecessors under the former drug control treaties as far back as the time of the League of Nations."
