The Jewish Studies Library

The Jewish Studies Library contains an interdisciplinary multilingual collection of books, pamphlets & periodicals in the field of Jewish Studies. It also holds an extensive collection of archival materials from Jewish institutions and private individuals in the Western Cape, that is administered by UCT Libraries’ Manuscripts and Archives Department.

The Jewish Studies Library is both a part of the network of UCT Libraries, and of the Kaplan Centre for Jewish Studies and Research.

We are situated in the Kaplan Centre, in Rachel Bloch House on the Upper Campus. Entrance is either from Madiba Circle or from Library Road.
