If this does not work, establish if the song comes from a larger work. Then search for the larger work.

However it is also useful to 'browse' (when you are not looking for a specific work) through the scores to see what is available.
There are different sections of vocal sheet music which can be browsed:

There are also numerous song anthologies. The contents of these anthologies are searchable in the online catalogue.If you search for the composer and the title the online catalogue (Primo) will retrieve the record.
