Budget

The annual Budget publications issued by the National Treasury comprise the Appropriation Bill, the Budget Speech, the Budget Review and the Estimates of National Expenditure. We have these publications in print in the Library. The Estimates of National Expenditure have chapters on each "Vote" for the individual departments. The Ministers' individual budget speeches may be found in Sabinet Legal's Parliamentary Documents database.

The minutes and reports of the Parliamentary "watchdogs:" the Standing Committee on Public Accounts (SCOPA) and the National Assembly's Standing Committee on Appropriations and Finance Standing Committee may be found on the Parliamentary Monitoring Group's website.

The Auditor-General publishes a consolidated general report on national and provincial audit outcomes. Financial statements and audit reports are included in the annual reports of individual government departments, agencies and public entities.
