Research Data Management (RDM): Home

UCT Libraries Research Data Services provide guidance and support for all aspects of the data lifecycle, from planning your data management strategy during the proposal phase through preserving your data at the conclusion of your project.

Welcome

Welcome to the UCT Research Data Management(RDM) Guide. This Guide will provide information on processes, procedures, and policy with regards to research data management (RDM), as well as access to resources and tools that can support researchers in managing their data.

This guide is also intended to support the UCT community in effective research data management throughout the data lifecycle of data planning, documenting, storage, sharing, and long-term preservation. This guide is collaboratively developed by the DLS department and librarians-working group of UCTLibraries.

Support

We have a team of librarians who will be able to assist you and refer you to the right spot for a conversation around RDM.
