This page will guide you on how to search for books in Primo, what to do when the library doesn't have a book you are looking for (Interlibrary Loans), as well as how to renew your books or DVDs, manage requests and view fines using My Library Card. 

Books

Use our Library search tool Primo to find Books and eBooks within UCT Libraries' collection. You can also use our new discovery tool WorldCat Local to search for material in UCT Libraries and other library collections. 

You can use the following databases to find eBooks:

Interlibrary Loans

 

If a book is not available at UCT libraries., a copy can be requested via Interlibrary Loans from other libraries in Southern Africa and Abroad.
