Entrepreneurship Library Guide: Reference Books

Reference Books

Getting started:

1. Use dictionaries and encyclopedias to get definitions of unfamiliar terms, whilst encyclopedias give more detailed explanations and overviews of topics. eg. World Encyclopedia of Entrepreneurship (R 338.O4003 WORL)  or The Blackwell encyclopedia of management  (CR 658.003 BLAC)

*The R before the location number refers to Reference collection which is situated near the Information Desk.

2. Identify key terms (concepts) and any alternative terms to broaden or narrow your search. You should choose three or four main points when searching for information covering your topic. Try to go from general to specific, eg. entrepreneurship AND South Africa
