This page will guide you on how to search for books in Primo. What to do when the library doesn't have a book you are looking for (Interlibrary Loans). As well as how to renew your books or DVDs, manage requests and view fines using My Library Card.
The presentation below will demonstrate on how to use Primo to find books, print journals, CDs, videos and DVDs available in UCT Libraries.
Primo will tell you what books we have in your topic of interest, and the shelf-numbers where you will find those books.

If a book is not available at UCT libraries, a copy of desired chapter or the book itself can be borrowed from another academic library via the Chancellor Oppenheimer Interlibrary Loans Service.
Use the appropriate button for a publication type to submit a request.
Book chapter requests can be submitted using the Book Request form. Any other type of document type can be emailed to Interlibrary Loans service with bibliographic details.
