Finance and Tax Library Guide: Books and Theses

A selection of older Finance Honours theses are kept on a designated shelf in the Research Wing (Level 4) of the library. They have the classification number CR 332.6 and can only be looked at in the library. They cannot be taken out.

Doctoral and Master's theses that have been submitted to UCT and that are available for loan are kept on Level 5 of the Chancellor Oppenheimer (Main) Library. Since 2009/2010 theses are uploaded to our digital collection, and may be viewed online at: Digital collection. 

UCT theses can be found through PRIMO if the author and/or title are known. Alternatively use a keyword search including the word "thesis".

In general UCT Libraries do not keep honours theses although some branch libraries may do so. In these cases the honours theses will be included in our catalogue. Departments in the faculties often keep their copies of honours theses but these are not reflected in the libraries' catalogue.
