Step 1: Open ORCID from www.orcid.org link
Step 2: Sign in using the link at the top right side of the page
Step 3: Scroll down to the 'Works' green bar
Step 4: From the right side of the green bar, click on + Add and select 'Search & Link' option
Step 5: From the opened page, scroll down to 'Scopus - Elsevier' and click on it
Step 6: Then follow the prompt and complete connecting your ORCID with your Scopus profile.
Step 1: Open Scopus Database from UCT Libraries website 'Databases A-Z' shortcut, (below the default search box)
Step 2: From the top menu, click on 'Search' menu
Step 3: Click on Authors tab and search by your name only
Step 4: From the retrieved list, see below which describes what you have retrieved:
Open each record and check the publications to check if it's your record.
No authors were found
Most probably none of the journals or conference proceedings that you have published your articles or books and book chapters are not indexed in the Scopus database collection.
You may confirm by randomly select your publication title, and conduct 'Document' search using the top 'Search' menu.
Step 1: Sign in to your ORCID record from the top right of the page https://orcid.org
Step 2: From the right end of 'Works' green bar, click on '+ Add'
Step 3: From the options click on 'Search & Link'
Step 4: Scroll to CrossRef and click on it, CrossRef homepage would open with searching facility
Step 5: In the search facility you may use to search your publication title or search by your name
