How to find information - a guide for Archaeology students

 

Department specific Library workshops are run by your Subject Librarian at the beginning and during the academic year. 

Who can attend and arrange a Library Workshop?

Archeology undergraduates, Archeology postgraduates, and all Archeology staff members

What will you learn?

  • relevant skills that can be applied with your studies, your research & at the work place,
  • an overview of the latest library services: research support, teaching & learning support and more,
  • effective way of finding scholarly publications, 
  • how to use reference management software: EndNote, RefWorks
  • Interlibrary Loans Service: a service that help you source scholarly materials from other libraries,
  • and more.

Additionally, every semester, UCT Libraries run Workshop series for researchers at undergraduate level and postgraduate level and above. Each workshop can be attended virtually or face-to-face. 

If you register for a topic of an interest, at the end of each session you will receive a link to the recording of a session.
