UCT Libraries has an incredibly diverse and multi-lingual collection on Nelson Mandela in its holdings. This includes a range of South African and international publications, films and manuscripts. We have used our collections to celebrate Mandela's birthday through physical and online exhibitions. Some of these print materials were digitised to create online exhibitions on our Libraries website. The purpose of this guide is to be a resource for those exploring more about Mandela's life and journey to freedom and those that fought tirelessly against apartheid. This guide is also the home of our exhibition archive.
