Central Water Authority

"The Central Water Authority (CWA) was established under the provisions of the Central Water Authority Act No. 20 of 1971. ... responsible for the control, development and conservation of Water Resources and the Treatment and Distribution of water to domestic, industrial and commercial purposes throughout Mauritius."

Wastewater Management Authority (WMA)

"The Wastewater Management Authority (WMA) has been established as a body corporate under the Wastewater Management Authority Act to be responsible for all matters relating to the collection, treatment and disposal of wastewater."

Irrigation Authority

A parastatal body set up under the Irrigation Authority Act No. 39 of 1978 with the responsibility for the development of the public sector irrigation.
